If you are traveling by car within the Cauca Valley, head towards Caicedonia. From the main road, take the route to vereda Limones. Once in Caicedonia, follow signs for vereda Limones. The park is located approximately 7 kilometers from the center of Caicedonia. Note: Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel, as gas stations may be limited in rural areas.

To reach las Heliconias National Park via public transportation, first take a bus to Caicedonia from major cities in the Cauca Valley such as Cali or Pereira. Once you arrive in Caicedonia, you will need to hire a local taxi or find a shared taxi to take you to vereda Limones. Confirm with the driver that they will take you to the park, as some may only go part of the way. The taxi fare may vary, so it's advisable to discuss the price before you set off.

If you are already in vereda Limones and prefer walking, you can trek the last part to las Heliconias National Park. Follow the dirt path leading towards the park entrance, which is well-marked.
