Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards Buenaventura from any location in Cauca Valley. Use the main highway (Route 25) which connects to Buenaventura. Once you arrive in Buenaventura, follow signs toward the port area. From there, take a local road leading to the San Cipriano entrance. Note that you will need to park your car near the entrance of the San Cipriano Natural Reserve, where you will then transfer to a traditional 'brujita' (a small motorized cart) for the final leg of your journey into the reserve.

Public Transportation
To reach San Cipriano using public transportation, take a bus from Cali or other areas in the Cauca Valley to Buenaventura. Buses frequently depart from the main bus terminal in Cali and the journey takes approximately 2 to 3 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Buenaventura, you will need to take a taxi or local bus to the entrance of the San Cipriano Natural Reserve. At the entrance, you will need to pay a small fee to enter the reserve and then transfer to a 'brujita' to reach the main area of San Cipriano.

Brujita (Motorized Cart)
Once you've parked your car or arrived at the entrance via public transport, you will need to pay for a ride on the 'brujita' to take you into San Cipriano. The ride is an adventure in itself as it travels along a track originally used for the railway. The cost for the brujita ride is typically around 5,000 COP (Colombian Pesos) per person. The journey lasts about 15-20 minutes, leading you through lush greenery and offering glimpses of the beautiful landscape.
