If you're traveling by car, head towards Bahía Solano from your current location in the Chocó Biogeographic Region. Once in Bahía Solano, follow the signs to Playa El Almejal. The Ecolodge is located about 15 minutes from the town center. You will need to take a dirt road that leads directly to the lodge. Be cautious as the road can be bumpy, and a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. There is no entrance fee to reach the lodge.

To reach Ecolodge El Almejal using public transportation, take a bus from Quibdó to Bahía Solano. The journey takes approximately 6 hours. Once in Bahía Solano, you can either take a local taxi or arrange a collective taxi to Playa El Almejal for about 20,000 COP (Colombian Pesos). The ride will take around 15 minutes. It's advisable to confirm the taxi fare before starting your journey.
