Car
If you are driving a car, start from Quibdó, Chocó. Take the road to Acandí (about 190 km, approximately 4-5 hours). Once you reach Acandí, continue to Capurganá, which is about 12 km further (roughly 30 minutes). The road may be unpaved and bumpy, so drive carefully. When you arrive in Capurganá, follow the signs to La Coquerita, which is a popular nature preserve and tourist attraction.
Public Transportation
To reach La Coquerita via public transport, first take a bus from Quibdó to Acandí. The journey takes approximately 6-7 hours and costs around 30,000 COP. Once you arrive in Acandí, you can take a taxi or a shared mototaxi to Capurganá. This leg of the trip is about 12 km and should cost around 10,000 COP. Upon reaching Capurganá, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to La Coquerita.
Boat
If you prefer a scenic route, you can also consider taking a boat from Acandí to Capurganá. This boat ride offers beautiful views of the coastline and usually takes about 1-2 hours, costing approximately 25,000 COP. Upon arrival in Capurganá, you can walk or take a local taxi to La Coquerita, which is well-known among locals.
