If you are driving from Ciudad Perdida, first make your way back to the main road leading to Santa Marta. The journey takes approximately 3-4 hours depending on road conditions. Once you reach the main road (Route 90), head south towards Santa Marta. After about 30 minutes, you will see signs for 'Pozo Azul' which is located in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta region. Turn onto the dirt road that leads to Pozo Azul. Be prepared for rough terrain; a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. Follow the signs and local directions until you arrive at the parking area near the entrance.

To reach Pozo Azul using public transportation, you will need to first get back to the nearest town with bus services, usually from your location in Ciudad Perdida.
