Getting There

Walking
If you are already in Cocora Valley, start by walking back towards the main road that leads to Salento. The path is well-marked and follows the natural contours of the valley, offering beautiful views. Once you reach the main road, turn left towards Salento and continue walking for about 30 minutes. You will pass through scenic landscapes and may spot some local wildlife. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will arrive at the entrance of Salento.

Public Transportation
From Cocora Valley, you can take a jeep taxi to Salento. Jeep taxis are available at the main parking area in Cocora Valley. The fare is around 3,000 COP per person. The ride takes approximately 30 minutes and will drop you off in the center of Salento. From the drop-off point, walk to Cra. 9 #7-23, which is about a 10-minute walk. Follow the main street until you see the hostel on your right.

If you are driving from Cocora Valley to Viajero Hostel Salento, head back to the main road and turn left towards Salento. Keep following the road for about 10 kilometers. You will drive through beautiful coffee plantations and small villages. Once you enter Salento, look for signs directing you to the town center. Viajero Hostel is located at Cra. 9 #7-23. There is limited parking available near the hostel, so be sure to check for any parking regulations in the area.
