Car
If you are driving from Pereira, take the Autopista del Café (highway 29) heading northwest towards Santa Rosa de Cabal. After about 20 kilometers, take the exit toward Risaralda. Continue on this road for about 15 kilometers until you reach the signs for Lake Otún. Follow the signs for another 5 kilometers until you arrive at the lake's parking area.

Public Transportation
From Pereira, locate the bus terminal and take a bus heading towards Santa Rosa de Cabal. Once you arrive in Santa Rosa, transfer to a local bus that goes to Lake Otún. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to get off at Lake Otún, and they will let you know when to disembark. The lake is a short walk from the bus stop.

If you are coming from Manizales, take the route via the Autopista del Café (highway 29) towards Pereira. After about 30 kilometers, look for the exit towards Risaralda. Continue straight for about 10 kilometers, then follow the signs for Lake Otún for another 5 kilometers. You will find the entrance to the lake on your right.

From Manizales, go to the main bus terminal and take a bus to Pereira. Once in Pereira, follow the previous public transportation instructions to reach Lake Otún. This journey will take about 1.5 hours, including the transfer time.
