From Tunja, head to the main bus terminal, Terminal de Transportes de Tunja. You can take a taxi or walk, as it is located about 10-15 minutes from the city center. At the terminal, look for buses heading to Chíquiza, which is the nearest town to Paramo Iguaque. The bus ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Chíquiza, ask the driver to drop you off at the main square (Plaza de Chíquiza).

From the Plaza de Chíquiza, head towards the entrance of the Iguaque National Park. There will be signs directing you to the park entrance. The entrance is approximately a 30-minute walk from the square. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water for the hike.

Once you reach the entrance of Iguaque National Park, you will need to pay the entrance fee. After entering, follow the designated trails that lead into the Paramo Iguaque area.
