Getting There

  • Car

    From Guatape, head west on the main road (Carrera 30) for approximately 1.5 km until you reach the intersection with Route 60. Turn left onto Route 60 and continue for about 15 km. Follow the signs for Medellín and Santa Elena. After approximately 10 km, you will see signs for Mirador la Meseta. Turn right onto the access road and continue for another 2 km to reach the viewpoint. Parking is available nearby.

  • Public Transportation

    From the central bus station in Guatape, take a bus heading to Medellín. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Santa Elena stop. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes and costs around 10,000 COP. Once you arrive in Santa Elena, you can either walk or take a local taxi (which costs about 15,000-20,000 COP) to reach Mirador la Meseta, which is about 5 km from the bus stop. If walking, head east on Calle 1 until you see the signs for the viewpoint.
