Look for the signs indicating Mirador San José, which will be on your right. There is a small parking area available at the site.

From Guatapé's main square, locate the bus stop where buses to San Rafael depart. These buses run frequently throughout the day. Board the bus, and inform the driver that you are going to Mirador San José. The journey will take about 15-20 minutes, and the fare is approximately 3,000 COP (Colombian Pesos). You will need to get off at the Mirador stop, which is well-marked. From the bus stop, it’s a short walk to the entrance of the mirador.
