Getting There

  • Car

    From Guatape, head southwest on the main road (Carrera 30) towards Medellín. Continue for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction for the Medellín - Bogotá highway (Route 60). Take the exit towards Medellín and follow the signs to Santa Elena. Once in Santa Elena, look for signs to Parque Arvi. There is a parking area near the entrance, but please note that parking fees may apply.

  • Public Transportation (Bus)

    From Guatape, take a local bus to Medellín at the main bus terminal. The bus ride takes about 2 hours. Once you arrive in Medellín, you will need to transfer to a bus heading to Santa Elena. Buses to Santa Elena can be found at the Terminal de Transportes del Norte. The bus fare to Santa Elena is approximately 7,000 COP. After arriving in Santa Elena, you can either walk or take a short taxi ride to the entrance of Parque Arvi.

  • Gondola Lift

    Another option to reach Parque Arvi from Medellín is to take the Metrocable (gondola lift). After you arrive in Medellín and transfer to the Santa Elena bus, you can also take the Metrocable from the Acevedo station. This scenic gondola ride offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and leads directly to Parque Arvi. The Metrocable fare is around 5,000 COP.
