Continue on this road for about 10 kilometers until you reach the sign for La Recebera. Follow the marked road signs leading towards La Recebera, which is approximately 15 kilometers from the main city. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for rural roads, as some sections can be bumpy.
Public Transportation
For those relying on public transportation, take a bus from San José del Guaviare to the nearby village. Buses are available from the main terminal and run frequently. The fare is typically around 5,000 COP. Upon arrival at the village, you may need to hire a motorcycle taxi or a local guide to reach La Recebera, as it is about 5 kilometers from the village center. The motorcycle taxi fare should be negotiated, but it generally costs around 10,000 COP.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of La Recebera and prefer to walk, head towards the southern outskirts of San José del Guaviare and follow the dirt paths leading to La Recebera.
