    Getting There

    Bus

    From Ibagué, head to the 'Terminal de Transportes de Ibagué' bus station. You can take a taxi or walk, as it's centrally located. At the terminal, purchase a ticket to Salento. The bus ride will take approximately 2.5 hours. Once you arrive in Salento, disembark at the main bus terminal. From there, you can either take a local jeep (collectivo) towards the Santa Rita area or walk. If you choose to walk, head towards Calle 6, going uphill until you reach the intersection with Carrera 7. Continue on Carrera 7 until you see signs for Santa Rita. Follow the signs until you reach the entrance of the Santa Rita waterfall.

    Taxi

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from your location in Ibagué to Salento. Ensure you agree on a fare before starting your journey. The taxi ride will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once in Salento, you can either ask the taxi driver to drop you off near the trailhead for the Santa Rita waterfall or ask for directions to the nearest jeep or local transport that can take you to the entrance. If dropped off in town, follow the walking directions as mentioned above.

    Walking

    If you are close to the bus terminal in Ibagué, you might consider walking to the terminal to catch your bus to Salento. Once you reach Salento, walking to the Santa Rita waterfall is also an option if you are up for a hike. From the main square in Salento, take Calle 6 uphill towards the mountain.
