Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from San Andrés, head south on Avenida Francisco Newball. Continue straight on this road for about 5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Avenida 20 de Julio. Turn right onto Avenida 20 de Julio and drive for about 2 kilometers. Follow the signs toward Laguna Big Pond and park your car in the designated area nearby. Be aware that parking fees may apply.

• Public Transportation

  From the central bus station in San Andrés, take a local bus heading towards the southern beaches. Inform the driver that you are visiting Laguna Big Pond. The bus ride should take about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. The fare is typically around 5,000 COP (Colombian Pesos). Once you arrive at the nearest stop, it will be a short 10-minute walk to the entrance of Laguna Big Pond. Look for signage directing you to the nature preserve.
