Car
From the center of Leticia, head southwest on Calle 10 towards Carrera 10. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Avenida 1 de Mayo, and follow this road for approximately 8 kilometers. You will pass through various neighborhoods and see local shops and eateries along the way. After about 8 kilometers, look for the signs indicating 'Reserva Natural Tanimboca' and turn left onto the access road. Continue straight for about 650 meters, and you will arrive at the entrance of the reserve.
Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Reserva Natural Tanimboca by bus, go to the main bus terminal in Leticia. Look for buses heading towards Tarapacá, which are usually marked as such. The fare is typically around 2,000 COP (Colombian Pesos). Once on the bus, inform the driver that you want to get off at the entrance of Reserva Natural Tanimboca. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. After disembarking, walk about 650 meters down the access road to reach the reserve.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Leticia. Simply tell the driver to take you to 'Reserva Natural Tanimboca'. The fare should cost between 20,000 to 30,000 COP, depending on your starting location. The taxi ride will take about 20-30 minutes. The driver will drop you off right at the entrance of the reserve.
