Bus
From the central bus terminal in Manizales, board a bus heading to Salento. The buses are frequent, and the journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Make sure to tell the bus driver you’re going to Salento. Once you arrive at the Salento bus terminal, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Boquia, which is about 15 minutes away.
Walking
If you are already in Salento, head towards the main square (Plaza de Bolívar). From there, take Calle 6 towards the east until you reach the junction with Carrera 5. Turn left onto Carrera 5 and continue walking until you see signs for Boquia. The walk will take around 30-40 minutes and will offer beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
Taxi
From anywhere in Salento, you can take a local taxi to Boquia. Just tell the driver that you want to go to Boquia, and they will take you directly. The ride should take approximately 15 minutes, depending on traffic.
