Walking
If you are starting from the main square of Manizales (Plaza de Bolívar), head northwest towards Carrera 23. Turn left onto Carrera 23 and walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach Calle 17. Turn right onto Calle 17 and continue for another 300 meters. You will come to a large intersection with the Avenida Santander. Cross the avenue, and you will see the entrance pathway to the monument on your left. Follow the path uphill for about 200 meters, and you will arrive at the Monumento a Los Colonizadores.

From the Plaza de Bolívar, walk to the nearest bus stop at Avenida Santander. Take a bus heading to the Chipre neighborhood, which should be clearly marked. The bus ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Get off at the stop nearest to Cra. 9a. From there, walk along Carrera 9a for about 5 minutes, and you will see the Monumento a Los Colonizadores on your right, located up the hill.
