This 88.9-hectare eco-park serves as a green lung for the city, featuring a fragment of tropical rainforest within the urban area.The park is home to diverse animal species, including sloths, silver foxes, and over 160 bird species, including the endemic Stiles's Tapaculo. Visitors can explore well-maintained trails, enjoy the sounds of streams, and discover varied flora. The park emphasizes environmental conservation, offering a serene backdrop for relaxation and contemplation.Ecoparque Los Yarumos also features the BioMa Interactive Science Center, offering interactive exhibits on topics ranging from pollution to wildlife. Additionally, the Center for Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (BIOS) is located within the park. Visitors can also enjoy the Bonsai Garden, showcasing diverse bonsai tree species, some over 30 years old.The park provides easy access, parking, and security for visitors. It is located about 15 minutes from the city center and La Nubia Airport.
