    From Salento's main square, take a bus towards Boquia. Ask the driver to drop you off near the yellow bridge, where the road parallels the river. From there, follow the road with the Santa Rita sign to the main entrance, approximately a 4.8km walk. Bus fare is around 1500 COP.

    Taxi

    Alternatively, hire a taxi from Salento to the entrance of Santa Rita Nature Reserve. The reserve is roughly 7 kilometers from Salento, and a taxi ride should cost around 15,000 COP.

    Walking

    For a scenic hike from Salento, start at the intersection of Calle 7 and Carrera 2. Follow the Wikiloc trail, keeping straight at paths. The terrain can be wet, so walk carefully. The hike is approximately 7.5 miles (12km) and takes 2-3 hours. Upon arrival, there is an entrance fee of 11,000 COP.
