Parque de las Aguas: A Refreshing Escape

Parque de las Aguas, inaugurated in 1996, is a sprawling 17-hectare water park nestled in the Aburrá Valley, near Medellín. This recreational and ecological park offers a refreshing escape with its warm climate and mountain views. The park boasts a wide array of aquatic attractions, including thrilling high-speed slides, family-friendly slides, and covered hydro-tubes. Visitors can also enjoy several recreational pools, a wave pool, a children's pool, and a lazy river for leisurely tubing. Beyond the aquatic attractions, the park features ecological trails, picnic areas, sports courts, and a replica of a traditional Antioquian village, providing a diverse range of activities for all ages. Originally conceived by the Metropolitan Area and Empresas Públicas de Medellín, Parque de las Aguas was designed to be a recreational and environmental haven.
