Great Salsa in El Poblado

It was great learning 2 new styles of salsa: “on1”/Latin American salsa and salsa caleña. The instructors were engaging, the live band was wonderful, the space was pretty cool outdoors. I absolutely would attend another of their events.

Fun, inclusive feel and deep knowledge of dance!

I had a couple of private lessons with Alejandro to get me started and figure out my level at the school. I am from overseas, adore all Latin music and dance, and wanted to build it into my stay in Medellin. Alejandro took me through Cuban salsa and Son for those couple of hours. He is incredibly knowledgeable and rigorous, and told me what to correct without me feeling bad about it! He is also fun and full of energy. I'm planning to attend a couple of regular lessons a week now, plus try out the social dancing on Fridays. Son de Timba has a great range of styles, so it's hard to choose - I'm like a kid in a lolly shop, as we say in Australia!

A suggestion

Bryant is a super nice person who is a professional and an experienced dancer. It was fun and instructional. However, I do feel like it is also false advertising. I assumed the lessons were outside and in a park, but the lessons were in a private home. In order for Bryant to grow his business and clientele I think if he is honest and upfront then people would be more willing and act to support. Overall fun experience but advertise correctly.
