Getting There

  • Metro

    Start your journey at the closest Metro station to your location. If you're in the city center, the 'Parque Berrío' station is a good starting point. From there, board Line A (the green line) in the direction of 'Niquía'. Alight at the 'Universidad' station, which is approximately 5 stops away. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to the university campus.

  • Walking

    After exiting 'Universidad' Metro station, head towards the main entrance of the Universidad de Antioquia. Walk straight through the university campus until you reach the intersection with Calle 73. Turn left onto Calle 73, and continue walking for about 5-10 minutes. You will see the entrance to Jardín Botánico de Medellín on your right at Cl. 73 #51d-14.

  • Bus

    Alternatively, from any area of the city, you can take a bus that heads towards 'Aranjuez' or 'Universidad'. Make sure to ask the driver if the bus stops near the Jardín Botánico. A convenient stop is 'Parque Explora', which is a short walk from the garden. From the bus stop, walk towards the intersection of Calle 73 and turn left. The botanical garden entrance will be on your right.
