Bus
From Neiva, head to the 'Terminal de Transportes de Neiva' located at Calle 10 # 3-45. There, you can catch a bus to Villavieja. Buses to Villavieja run frequently, so check the schedule at the terminal or ask the staff for assistance. The journey typically takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Villavieja, you can ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to the 'Desierto de la Tatacoa'.

Walking or Local Transport
After getting off the bus in Villavieja, you will need to take a local taxi or walk to the observatory. If you prefer walking, head southeast on Calle 5 towards Carrera 7, then turn left onto Carrera 7 and continue for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the entrance to the Desierto de la Tatacoa. Alternatively, you can easily find a taxi to take you directly to the Observatorio Astronómico de la Tatacoa.
