If you are in the city center of Neiva, start at Plaza de Armas, which is a central square and a good landmark. From there, head east on Calle 8 toward Carrera 1. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach Carrera 6. Turn left onto Carrera 6 and walk straight for another 5 minutes. You will see the Monumento Quinto Centenario on your right side, located in a small park.

From the central bus station (Terminal de Transportes de Neiva), take a bus that is heading towards the city center. Look for signs that say 'Centro' or 'Plaza de Armas.'
