    From San José del Guaviare, head southeast on Calle 10 towards Carrera 14. Continue onto Vía El Retiro for approximately 9 km. Puerta de Orión will be on the left side of the road. There is a small parking area available. Be aware that road conditions can vary.

  • Public Transport

    Take a local bus from the main bus terminal in San José del Guaviare towards El Retiro. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at Km 9 for Puerta de Orión. The fare is between 2,000 to 5,000 COP. From Km 9, you can walk a short distance to the entrance.

  • Taxi

    Taxis can be hired from San José del Guaviare for a fare between 20,000 and 30,000 COP. The taxi can take up to four people. However, during rainy conditions, taxis may only go as far as the turnoff, adding a 2.6 km walk.
