If you're traveling by car, head to Santa Marta, Magdalena. From the city center, take the Via Santa Marta - Riohacha road (Route 90) and follow the signs for Parque Tayrona. The entrance to Parque Tayrona is about 34 km from Santa Marta. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you will need to pay an entrance fee (approximately COP 50,000) to access the park. After entering, follow the signs for Playa Guachaquita, which is around a 30-minute drive within the park. Once you reach Playa Guachaquita, park your car and walk to Wachakyta Ecolodge, which is a short walk from the beach.

To reach Wachakyta Ecolodge via public transportation, start by taking a bus from Santa Marta to the entrance of Parque Tayrona. Buses leave frequently from the main bus terminal in Santa Marta, and the fare is around COP 10,000. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you will need to pay an entrance fee (approximately COP 50,000) for access. After entering, you can take a shuttle or a local taxi to Playa Guachaquita for around COP 20,000. Upon reaching the beach, it is a short walk to Wachakyta Ecolodge.

Once you arrive at the park entrance, you will need to pay the entrance fee of approximately COP 50,000. Then, you can either continue with the taxi to Playa Guachaquita for an additional fare or walk to the beach, which is a short distance. The Ecolodge is located a brief walk from the beach.
