From the Mocoa bus terminal, take a bus or colectivo heading towards Villagarzón. The entrance to Hornoyaco is located at Km 2 on the Mocoa-Villagarzón road. The bus ride should cost around 5,000 COP and take approximately 20 minutes. From the drop-off point, it's about a 40-minute to 1-hour hike to the waterfall.

Take a taxi from Mocoa to the entrance of Hornoyaco, located on the Mocoa-Villagarzón road. Negotiate the fare with the driver before starting the journey. The taxi ride should take approximately 20 minutes. A reasonable fare would be around 15,000-20,000 COP. From the entrance, it's about a 40-minute to 1-hour hike to the waterfall.

Walking
While it is possible to walk from Mocoa, it is not recommended due to the distance (approximately 2 hours) and the road conditions. If you choose to walk, follow the Mocoa-Villagarzón road. Be aware of traffic and the lack of sidewalks. Once you reach the entrance at Km 2, it is still a 40-minute to 1-hour hike to the waterfall.
