If you are driving from Mocoa, head southeast on Avenida 24 de Mayo (Via a Villagarzon). Continue for about 4 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road to El Estrecho. Turn left and follow the signs towards Reserva Natural Paway. The entrance is approximately 10 kilometers down this road. Be prepared for some rough patches, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended.

You can take a bus from Mocoa to Villagarzón. Buses leave frequently from the central bus terminal in Mocoa. The fare is typically around 6,000 COP. Once you arrive in Villagarzón, you can hire a local taxi to take you to Reserva Natural Paway. The taxi ride should cost around 25,000 COP and takes about 30 minutes.
