Car
From any location in Risaralda Department, head towards the town of Salento. Use GPS navigation to reach Salento, which is approximately 30 kilometers from Pereira. Once in Salento, follow the signs for 'Valle de Cocora'. The road to Cocora Valley is approximately 11 kilometers from Salento. Be aware that the road can be narrow and winding, so drive carefully. There is no entry fee for the valley itself, but you may need to pay for parking in Salento.

Public Transportation
To reach Cocora Valley using public transport, first travel to Salento. You can take a bus from Pereira's terminal that goes directly to Salento, which costs around 10,000 to 15,000 COP (Colombian Pesos) and takes about 40 minutes. Once in Salento, you can take a jeep (collectivo) from the main square to Cocora Valley. The cost for the jeep ride is approximately 3,000 to 5,000 COP per person, and it takes about 30 minutes to reach the valley. Ensure to check the jeep schedules as they might vary, especially during off-peak hours.
