To reach Buritaca from Santa Marta, take a bus heading towards Palomino or Riohacha from Calle 11 and Carrera 9 in the city center. The bus fare is approximately 10,000 COP per person. From the main road where the bus drops you off, it's about a 1 kilometer (20-25 minute) walk to the beach. Alternatively, you can take a motorcycle taxi for about 3,000 COP per person.

A taxi from Santa Marta to Buritaca is a faster but more expensive option. The cost is approximately 100,000 to 180,000 COP. The journey takes around 1 hour and 20 minutes.
