From the Santa Marta beach area (Playa de Santa Marta), walk north along the beachfront promenade (Paseo Bastidas). After approximately 15 minutes, turn left onto Calle 16, then turn right onto Carrera 1. Parque Bolívar will be a short walk ahead on your right. Walking is free.
Public Transport
From the Santa Marta Bus Terminal, take a local bus heading towards the city center. Look for buses marked 'Centro' or 'Centro Histórico'. Inform the driver you want to go to Parque Bolívar. The bus ride takes about 15-20 minutes. Alight at the stop closest to Carrera 1 and Calle 16, then walk a few steps to your right to reach the park. Bus fare is approximately 1,800 COP.
