Walking
From the center of Minca, follow the Ciénaga-Minca road away from Santa Marta. Look for signs indicating 'Sendero a Pozo Azul'. The walk is roughly 45 minutes. Note that the road has a steady incline. After purchasing your entry ticket at the wooden hut, continue down the path for another 20 minutes to reach Pozo Azul. Entry to Pozo Azul is free.
Public Transport
First, take a bus from Santa Marta to Minca from the Mercado Público. The bus ('colectivo') costs approximately 9,000 COP. From Minca, you can either walk to Pozo Azul or take a moto-taxi. If walking, follow the directions in the 'Walking' guidance. If taking a moto-taxi, they are readily available in the center of Minca. A moto-taxi to Pozo Azul costs around 10,000 COP per person.
Moto-Taxi
Moto-taxis are a popular way to get to Pozo Azul from Minca. They can be found in the center of Minca, near the yellow bridge. The ride to Pozo Azul costs around 10,000 COP per person and takes approximately 10 minutes. The driver will stop at the ticket office where you will pay 6,000 COP per person to get in.
