If you're driving from the city of Bucaramanga, take the route towards Barrancabermeja on Route 66. After approximately 1.5 hours, take the exit toward Socorro and continue for about 30 minutes until you reach the town of Choachí. Once in Choachí, follow the signs leading to Cascada La Chorrera. The last 5 kilometers may be on a gravel road; drive carefully.

To reach Cascada La Chorrera via public transportation, start at the Bucaramanga Terminal de Transportes and take a bus heading to Choachí. The bus ride takes around 2.5 to 3 hours. Once you arrive in Choachí, you can either walk (about 1 hour) or take a local taxi to the entrance of Cascada La Chorrera. The taxi fare should be around 10,000-15,000 COP.
