    If you are driving from Tayrona National Natural Park, head west on the road towards Santa Marta. Continue on this road for approximately 34 kilometers (about 50 minutes). As you approach Santa Marta, look for signs indicating Minca. You will eventually turn left onto the road leading to Minca. This road is unpaved and can be bumpy, so drive cautiously. The drive from the main road to Minca is about 13 kilometers (approximately 30 minutes). There may be parking available near the town.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Minca using public transportation, first make your way to the main entrance of Tayrona National Park. From there, you can catch a bus or shared taxi heading to Santa Marta. The fare is typically around 10,000 COP (Colombian Pesos). Once you arrive in Santa Marta, head to the Mercado Publico (Public Market) where you can find a bus or shared taxi to Minca. The fare for this leg is usually about 8,000 COP. The journey takes about 30 minutes, and you can ask the driver to drop you off at the main square in Minca.

  • Motorbike Taxi

    For a more adventurous option, consider taking a motorbike taxi from Santa Marta to Minca. After reaching Santa Marta, you can find motorbike taxis near the Mercado Publico. The fare is approximately 15,000 COP and the trip takes around 20-25 minutes. Just make sure to wear a helmet for safety.
