If you're traveling by car within Tayrona National Natural Park, head towards the entrance of the park. Once you enter, follow the main road leading to the various beaches. Look for signs indicating Playa la Bahia. The road will take you through some scenic views, and you'll reach a designated parking area near the beach. Note that there may be an entrance fee for the park, which is typically around 20,000 COP (Colombian Pesos) per person.

Public Transportation
From Santa Marta, you can take a shared van (collectivo) to Tayrona National Park. The vans leave from the main bus terminal in Santa Marta. The fare is approximately 8,000 COP per person. Once you arrive at the main entrance of the park, purchase your entrance ticket, which costs around 20,000 COP. After entering the park, you can either walk or hire a local guide to take you to Playa la Bahia. The walk will take about 1.5 to 2 hours, following the marked trails through the park.

Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Santa Marta to the entrance of Tayrona National Park. The cost for this ride is about 60,000 to 80,000 COP, depending on your negotiation skills and the time of day. After reaching the park entrance, you will still need to pay the entrance fee of around 20,000 COP. From the entrance, you can either walk or get a local guide to take you to Playa la Bahia, which is about a 1.5 to 2-hour hike.
