If you are traveling by car from Tayrona National Natural Park, exit the park and head southwest on the road toward Santa Marta. Follow the signs for Santa Marta and continue for approximately 34 kilometers (about 45 minutes). As you approach the city, stay on the main road until you reach the intersection with Calle 16. Turn left onto Calle 16, then take a right onto Carrera 1c. Continue straight until you reach Malecón de Bastidas, which will be on your right. Parking may be available nearby, but be prepared to pay for parking fees.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from the Tayrona National Park entrance to Santa Marta. Buses frequently depart from the entrance, and the fare is typically around 10,000 COP. Once you arrive in Santa Marta, you can take a taxi or a local bus to Malecón de Bastidas. If taking a taxi, provide the driver with the address: Cra. 1c #15-2, Comuna 2. Alternatively, local buses that pass through the city center may also stop near Malecón de Bastidas. The total travel time may vary, but expect it to take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on the bus schedule and traffic.
