From Ibagué, take a bus from the bus terminal towards San Luis. The bus will stop at Payandé. From Payandé, walk for about 5 minutes to the detour for the waterfalls. From there, it's a 5-kilometer walk along an unpaved road. Alternatively, hire a jeep, motorbike, or horse from the farmhouse park to the restaurant and parking lot. Bus fare from Ibagué to Payandé is approximately 4,000 COP. Fare for a jeep, motorbike, or horse is around 3,000 COP.

From San Luis, you can take a taxi to Cascadas De Payande. The waterfalls are approximately 10 km away. Taxis may charge around 15,000 to 20,000 COP for the ride. Be sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.

From Ibagué, take Autopista Sur (Route 40) towards San Luis. Follow local signs to Cascadas De Payande, approximately 10 kilometers from the town center. Be aware that the last leg of the road is in poor condition, so an SUV is recommended. There may be a small parking fee upon entry, typically around 5,000 COP. Parking at the restaurant after walking the path costs 3,000 COP.
