Car
If you're driving from any city in Tolima Department, head towards Ibagué and take the Autopista del Café. From Ibagué, follow the signs to Bogotá on Route 40. Continue on this road until you reach the exit for Zipaquirá. Once in Zipaquirá, follow the signs to Parque De La Sal, where the Salt Cathedral is located. There is a parking lot available near the entrance, and parking fees may apply.
Public Transportation - Bus
To reach the Salt Cathedral by public transportation, find a bus terminal in your current city in Tolima Department. Take a bus to Bogotá and then transfer to a bus heading to Zipaquirá. The journey from Ibagué to Zipaquirá typically takes around 2 to 3 hours. Upon arrival in Zipaquirá, you can either walk to the Salt Cathedral or take a local taxi for a short distance.
