Getting There

Walking
Start at the Aspen Visitor Center located at 590 N Mill St, Aspen, CO 81611. From the visitor center, head south on Mill Street towards E Main St. Continue walking straight for about 0.2 miles until you reach the intersection with E Hopkins Ave. Turn left onto E Hopkins Ave. After one block, you will reach the Aspen Mountain gondola base area. Look for the Silver Queen Gondola, which will take you up Aspen Mountain. The gondola station is located at the end of E Hopkins Ave.

Public Transportation (Bus)
If you prefer to take the bus, head to the nearest bus stop located at the Aspen Visitor Center (590 N Mill St). Board the Roaring Fork Transportation Authority (RFTA) bus heading towards Aspen Mountain. The ride is free and will take you directly to the Aspen Mountain gondola base area. Get off at the stop for the Silver Queen Gondola, which is clearly marked.

If you're renting a bike, start at the Aspen Bike Share station at the Aspen Visitor Center (590 N Mill St). Take the bike lane along Mill Street heading south. When you reach E Main St, turn left and continue biking until you reach E Hopkins Ave. Turn right onto E Hopkins Ave, and bike straight until you see the Silver Queen Gondola entrance at the end of the road.
