Walking
From the center of Aspen, head south on S Mill St toward E Main St. Continue straight onto E Main St, which will turn into W Main St. Walk for about 0.4 miles until you reach the intersection with N Monarch St. Turn left onto N Monarch St and continue for about 0.2 miles. Hallam Lake will be on your right, just past the entrance to the Hallam Lake Trailhead.

If you're renting a bike in Aspen, start at the Aspen Bike Share station located at the corner of E Main St and S Mill St. Head south on S Mill St and take a right onto E Main St. Continue straight as E Main St becomes W Main St. After about 0.4 miles, turn left onto N Monarch St. Hallam Lake will be on your right after about 0.2 miles. There are bike racks available near the entrance.

Public Transport
Take the Roaring Fork Transportation Authority (RFTA) bus from the Aspen bus station, located at 1st St and Main St. Board the bus heading to the Aspen Highlands. Get off at the stop just before the Aspen Golf Club on E Main St. From there, walk east for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with N Monarch St. Turn left onto N Monarch St, and you will find Hallam Lake on your right after a short walk.
