Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving to Royal Gorge Bridge & Park, start by getting onto US-50 E from your current location in Colorado. Follow US-50 E for approximately 45 miles until you reach Cañon City. Once you arrive in Cañon City, take the exit toward CO-115 S. Continue on CO-115 S for about 7 miles, then take a left onto County Road 3A. Follow County Road 3A for about 1 mile, and you will find the entrance to Royal Gorge Bridge & Park on your left at 4218 Co Rd 3A. The park typically charges an entrance fee, so be prepared for that cost upon arrival.

• Public Transportation

  If you're using public transportation, you would initially need to take a Greyhound or a local bus service to Cañon City. Check the schedule for your nearest bus station for availability. Once you arrive in Cañon City, you'll need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber) to get to Royal Gorge Bridge & Park, as public transportation options may be limited in this area. The distance from the Cañon City bus station to the park is about 10 miles, and a taxi ride may cost around $20-30.

• Bicycle

  For the adventurous, consider biking to Royal Gorge Bridge & Park! If you're already in Cañon City, rent a bike from a local shop. From the city center, head south on Main St, which will lead you to CO-115 S. Follow CO-115 S for about 7 miles until you reach County Road 3A. Turn left onto County Road 3A and ride for another mile to reach the park entrance. Make sure to wear a helmet and bring plenty of water, as the ride can be challenging.
