Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Chautauqua Park Ranger Cottage, head south on Bluebell Road towards the Bluebell Shelter. Then, turn west onto the Bluebell-Baird Trail. At the junction, follow the signs for the 1st/2nd Flatiron Trail. The trail becomes steeper and rockier as you ascend. This approach involves a moderate uphill hike of approximately 2.5 miles. Parking at Chautauqua Park costs $2.50/hour on weekends and holidays from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

  • Public Transport

    Take the HOP bus to the intersection of Baseline Road and 9th Street. From there, walk west on Baseline Road to Chautauqua Park. Enter the park and follow the walking directions to the First Flatiron Trailhead. A single ride on the HOP bus costs $3.00.
