Getting There

Public Bus
Start at the Boulder Downtown Transit Center located at 14th St & Walnut St. Board the SKIP bus route. This will take you towards the foothills. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the stop for Table Mesa Park & Ride. From there, transfer to the 204 bus towards the 'Eldorado Springs'. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at 'Flagstaff Mountain'. This stop is near the entrance to the trails leading to Realization Point.

Biking
Begin at the Boulder Creek Path at the east end of Pearl Street Mall. Bike west on the path until you reach the junction with the Boulder Canyon Trail. Continue on the Boulder Canyon Trail, which will take you towards the mountains. After about 4 miles, you will merge onto Flagstaff Road. Follow Flagstaff Road up the hill; Realization Point will be on your left. The ride is approximately 6 miles total and will take about 30-45 minutes depending on your pace.

Walking/Hiking
If you are feeling adventurous, you can walk from the Chautauqua Park trailhead. Start at the Chautauqua Park located at 9th St & Baseline Rd. Follow the Bluebell Road trail which leads into the mountains. Continue on the Bluebell Road trail until you connect with the Flagstaff Trail. Follow the Flagstaff Trail upward, which will eventually lead you to Realization Point. This hike is approximately 3 miles one way and can take about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your hiking speed.
