Walking
From Chautauqua Park, follow the Chautauqua Trail southwest towards the base of the Flatirons. The trail gradually ascends through meadows and forests. Continue onto the Flatirons Loop Trail, following signs for the First and Second Flatiron Trail. This path leads directly to the base of the Second Flatiron. The walk from Chautauqua Park to the Second Flatiron takes approximately 30-45 minutes. Parking at Chautauqua Park costs around $2.50 per hour.
Public Transport
From downtown Boulder, take the HOP bus counterclockwise to the stop on 9th/College. From there, walk west on Baseline Road to Chautauqua Park (approximately 10-15 minutes). Follow the walking directions from Chautauqua Park to the Second Flatiron. A single ride on the HOP bus costs $3.00.
