    Avon has a free bus system that makes it easy to get around town. Several bus routes stop near Walking Mountains Science Center. From the Avon Station, the Urgent Care bus stop is the closest, and it's only a 4-minute walk to the Science Center. Check the local bus schedule for the most up-to-date route information. There is no cost for the bus.

    Walking

    Walking Mountains Science Center is located a little over half a mile from the center of Avon. From the Avon Recreation Center, walk west along West Beaver Creek Boulevard. Turn left onto Walking Mountains Lane. The Science Center will be on your right. The walk is relatively flat and should take about 15-20 minutes.

    Driving

    Walking Mountains Science Center is located at 318 Walking Mountains Lane in Avon, Colorado. From I-70, take exit 167 for Avon Road. Head south on Avon Road, then turn right onto West Beaver Creek Boulevard. Turn left onto Walking Mountains Lane. The Science Center will be on your right. Free parking is available on-site. Electric vehicle charging stations are also available.
