    From downtown Colorado Springs, America the Beautiful Park is easily accessible on foot. Head west towards Cimino Drive. The park is located south of Colorado Avenue and north of Cimarron Street, adjacent to Monument Creek. The 'Continuum' fountain is visible from a distance.

    Mountain Metro Transit provides bus service to the park. Several routes serve the downtown area, and you can use Google Maps or the Mountain Metro website to find the most convenient route and real-time arrival information. A basic adult fare is $1.75.

America the Beautiful Park, located on the western edge of downtown Colorado Springs, is a popular destination for both locals and tourists. Completed in 2005, the 16.9-acre park provides a green space for events, picnics, and relaxation. The park's most recognizable feature is the Julie Penrose Fountain, also known as 'Continuum,' a four-story sculptural fountain with water spraying from 366 jets as it rotates. During the summer, visitors can cool off in the fountain's spray. The park also has the America the Beautiful Fantasy Playground, which includes unique play areas and interactive art pieces created by local elementary students. These art pieces are called 'Quirks'. In 1992, the Downtown Action Plan proposed the park as a community space. The park also connects to the Midland Trail and Pikes Peak Greenway, offering access to the city's extensive trail system. The park occupies land that was once the Conejos Neighborhood.
