If you are starting from downtown Colorado Springs, head to the nearest bus stop and take the Mountain Metro Transit Route 3 bus, which travels south on Cascade Ave. You will need to get off at the stop near the intersection of Cascade Ave and Cheyenne Blvd. From there, transfer to Route 27, which will take you closer to Stratton Open Space. Get off at the 'Ridgeway Ave & Cheyenne Blvd' stop. From the bus stop, walk east on Cheyenne Blvd for about 0.5 miles until you reach Ridgeway Ave. Turn left on Ridgeway Ave and walk north for a short distance until you see the entrance to Stratton Open Space on your right.
