Getting There

  • Walking

    From the main parking lot at the Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center (1805 N. 30th St, Colorado Springs), cross 30th Street onto Gateway Road and head west into the park. When Gateway Road meets Juniper Way Loop, turn right onto the one-way road. After rounding the bend, the parking area for the Perkins Central Garden Trail will be the first large pull-off on the left, from where you can easily view the Kissing Camels.

  • Public Transport

    From downtown Colorado Springs, take Mountain Metro Transit Route 3 to the intersection of 30th Street and Gateway Road. From there, walk west on Gateway Road into Garden of the Gods. When Gateway Road meets Juniper Way Loop, turn right onto the one-way road. After rounding the bend, the parking area for the Perkins Central Garden Trail will be the first large pull-off on the left, from where you can easily view the Kissing Camels. A single fare on Mountain Metro Transit is $1.75.

  • Shuttle

    During the summer (late May to mid-August, and Labor Day weekend), a free shuttle operates within Garden of the Gods Park. The shuttle connects the Visitor & Nature Center, the Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site parking lot, the overflow parking lot, and the Central Garden area.
