Getting There

    From the Garden of the Gods Visitor Center, follow the Gateway Trail, a paved path that parallels Gateway Road. This easy walk provides an alternative to driving and offers scenic views of the park. The trail leads to the Juniper Way Loop, which provides access to the Central Garden area and the base of North Gateway Rock.

  • Public Transport

    Take the Mountain Metro Transit bus to the Garden of the Gods Visitor Center. From there, follow the paved Gateway Trail into the park, leading towards the Central Garden area and North Gateway Rock. A single bus fare costs $1.75. Note that bus fares are free between June 1 and August 31, 2025.

  • Driving

    Enter Garden of the Gods Park via the main entrance on N. 30th Street. Follow Gateway Road, and North Gateway Rock will be visible on the right. Continue to the main parking lot to access trails leading to the rock. Parking is free, but can be limited during peak season.
