The Michael Garman Museum & Gallery, located in the heart of Old Colorado City, Colorado Springs, is home to Magic Town, a unique sculptural theater. For over 50 years, the museum has showcased Michael Garman's handmade sculptures, honoring American heroes from all walks of life. Magic Town is a 1/6th scale miniaturized urban neighborhood, complete with dozens of handcrafted buildings, alleyways, and sidewalk scenes that transform before your very eyes. As you explore, you'll see the lights dim, sculptures seemingly move, and entirely new scenes magically appear. Holograms heckle you as you pass by, and other visual and sound effects transport you into the stories revealed in each window and around every corner. The museum also features over 500 sculptures, with a focus on American heroes. These sculptures are reproduced by hand in the on-site production facility. Garman's sculptures have been collected by celebrities and heads of state, including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tom Brokaw, and former US Presidents Ronald Reagan and George Bush. Open seven days a week, Magic Town admission includes a complimentary scavenger hunt, making it an engaging experience for all ages.
